Dr. Sindoni completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He earned his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1992 and his M.D. in 1995 at the University of Buffalo. His five-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery included a one-year internship in General Surgery at the University of Buffalo. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) as the Chief Resident at the University of Buffalo in 1997.

Dr. Sindoni began his relationship with Amherst Associates of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery as an associate in 1997. He became a partner in 1999 and in 2007 became the sole owner of the practice. He is a Volunteer Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Sindoni has over 17 years of experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and office-based Anesthesia. In addition to his practice in Williamsville, he was the Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Women and Children’s Hospital at Buffalo (CHOB) from 1999 to 2008. He was the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon at the Craniofacial Center of WNY at CHOB and an active board member with the center from 1997 to 2013. His involvement with the Craniofacial Center included the treatment of craniofacial disorders and patients with cleft lip and palate. He is on staff at Kaleida Health and the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) where he is on-call for all types of facial trauma.

During the past 17 years, Dr. Sindoni has been involved in the training of dental students and OMS residents at the hospitals where he is affiliated. Dental students often volunteer to shadow Dr. Sindoni at the Williamsville location. He continues to train upper-level residents and chief residents at ECMC when he is on call.

Dr. Sindoni has also been politically active in OMS at the state and national levels. He was the President of the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons from 2007-08. He sat on the Advisory Board for OMSNIC, the leading liability carrier for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for several years. Locally, he sits on the Claims Committee for the 8th District Dental Society.

Continuing education has always been a high priority for Dr. Sindoni. He and his staff have logged many hours attending courses to heighten their level of practice. Dr. Sindoni currently has well over 1000 hours of continuing education. This is a testament to his dedication to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and more importantly to his patients.
